From ZoneAlarm:
- Make up a sentence with 10 words — This is my strong and easily remembered password for login.
- Use the first letter of each word — timsaerpfl
- Capitalize the some of the letters, like the first 3, or every 3rd letter, etc — TIMsaerPLF
- Add two numbers that are meaningful to you — TIM35saerPLF
- Punctuate at the beginning and end — ~TIM35saerPLF^
And there you have it. This is my strong and easily remembered password for login — ~TIM35saerPLF^
You can check your password strength here. The strength for the above password is “Very Strong”.
By the way, don’t use the same password to login to everything. If one account gets compromised, dozens will be too. Use a Password Manager like KeePass, a free open source password manager or an online service like LastPass. It’s free for basic features and for premium it costs only $1 per month.
