I am no longer trying to become something.
I am trying to be correctly placed.
For a long time, I thought stability came from understanding everything.
If I could map it, I could control it.
If I could control it, I would be secure.
That works in technical systems.
It does not work in life.
There is an authority that does not depend on my comprehension.
Recognizing that changes posture.
Everything resolves upward.
Not as philosophy.
As hierarchy.
That means I am not the reference point.
My intellect is not sovereign.
My preferences are not ultimate.
My narrative is not central.
I am accountable.
That is not oppression.
It is structure.
Where am I now?
Not searching for identity.
Not rewriting the past.
Not speculating about alternate timelines.
I do not play what-ifs anymore.
Yesterday is fixed.
Tomorrow is not promised.
Today is assigned.
That is sufficient.
Placement is not passive.
It requires:
Correction when wrong.
Restraint when reactive.
Discipline when tired.
Honesty when exposed.
Alignment is proven under friction.
Not in reflection.
I am not ahead of anyone.
I am not behind anyone.
I am responsible for the position I occupy.
If I drift, I recalibrate.
If I fail, I correct.
The axis does not move.
I do.
And that is the work.
